This is one of those happy situations where the stock gaps up at the open, causing the GTC order to sell WELL ABOVE the stipulated sell price of the GTC; giving extra profit. Of course, one can drool over the price to which it climbed AFTER the GTC kicked in. But not me. I’ll take the extra from the gap open, but I’ve seen way too many fall back below the sell point (the red line in the chart below). Happy trading. Pete A |
